"We have friends and we have family; and then, there are friends who become family." I am fortunate to have a friend like that in Tawana. Since high school, Tawana has been my biggest cheerleader and confidant. If you know anything about me, then you know I often need to be "reeled in". Tawana has always been that person who I consider my moral compass as well as someone that I seek to model my life in a like manner. It has been a privilege watching my friend fulfill her role as a wife and mother. Now, as God moves me in a similar direction I can’t imagine my special day without her by my side, just as she has been since our first day of 9th grade.

When you’re going through trials and tribulations, you’ll find out exactly who’s on your side. I’ve been through these rough times and one person has stood out, Kevin aka Lifa. Now that I’m entering into another journey, marriage, I’m happy knowing that Lifa has traveled that rode for 29 years. It is an honor to have Lifa as my Best Man and advisor on this new journey.
